No, not inherited.

Myeloma known starts with a change to a single cell lymphocytes B. Usually some B cells plasma cells. Myeloma, a B-cell myeloma cell instead of a normal.

Researchers are studying myeloma understand why this change occurs. There is no way of preventing myeloma. You can not someone who has myeloma.
