Ceremony Program question? - ceremony program thank you line
So, based on all models of the program, the parents of the bride, the groom parents, and a kind of gratitude, the parents for this kind of wonderful, blah blah blah.
Well, my parents alive and well and has done a wonderful job raising me, so no problem ....
The father was adopted by my friend, and his mother is an alcoholic, not to mention the rather, angry at our wedding. His parents have done a poor job increase, as he was often in and out of foster care.
Are we to completely ignore the part of parents about programs, or what?

Out of respect for her boyfriend and his family, I would say something like this:
"We thank our families for their love and support. We are happy to be blessed."
Or something like that at all. You can guarantee your parents a special thank you in private. They require no attention to the fiance ambivalent relationship with their parents.
Hello. I am a church secretary and have worked in many programs of the wedding. Where I live we never have an extra "thank you" to the parents, only with others in the wedding list ... as follows:
Maid of Honor: Karen Smith (sister of the bride)
Best Man: Tim Johnson ( "friend of the groom)
(others in the wedding, etc., etc.)
The parents of the bride:
Judy and Brian Smith
The groom parents:
Tonya and Leon Wilkinson
Something like that. I would definitely list of their names, but let the "Thank You from. Or ... Do you feel when you really need to thank you for it (again, I've) never seen before, then just a general thank you ......
To our parents:
Thank you for your love and support.
Love, [your name and the name of her friend]
Hope this helps!
